Cancelation & Late Policy

Accepted Answer

We cannot accept guests into the class who are more than 15 minutes late. We guide the entire class together and by this point we are too far along to introduce new guests.

You can cancel or reschedule your class 48 hours prior to your booking. Cancelations within the 48 hour window will not be granted a refund.

No-shows will not receive a rescheduling opportunity or a refund.

Age Requirement

Because you'll be handling hot wax and oils in our professional work space, all participants are required to be at least 18 years old. Individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted in the workspace. Every person participating will also be required to fill out a waiver form when they arrive to the studio.

Food & Drink Policy

We do not allow food in our studio.

Drinks are okay as long as they can be capped and off the table. Since you will be using the entire table for the activity.

Question 4

What is the candle making experience like?

You'll get to choose from a variety of jars, fragrances, and pour your own luxury candle. You are not required to bring anything! We provide all materials so you can focus on having a good time.

The candle making takes about 45 minutes to an hour, plus an additional hour to cool and set. Your candle will be ready to take home at the end of the experience.

Hour 1 - Candle Making
1. Choose your vessel & fragrance(s)
2. Prepare your station (wicking, labels, etc.)
3. Mix & pour your candle

Hour 2 - Cooling Process
Your candle will take an 1hr/1hr 15min to cool. But there’s plenty to do while you wait!
1. Shop in our store with your complimentary $5 gift certificate
2. Explore the neighborhood (vintage clothing, restaurants, coffee shops, and more!)

Can I bring my own jar/vessel?

No, we do not allow clients to bring their own jar. We provide luxury vessels for the class.

Question 6

What if I'm allergic to certain fragrances?

Accepted Answer

Please reach out to confirm fragrances used in the class. We cannot swap out fragrances if you're allergic to specific fragrance oils.

We can make some exceptions for private parties booked in our space.

Question 7

How do I get to the candle class?

Accepted Answer

You can take the L Train to the Morgan Ave stop and walk about 3 minutes to our candle shop.

Once you arrive, just check-in with the front desk staff. The instructor will bring everyone into the speakeasy candle studio.
